David A. Melito

David A. Melito joined the firm as a law clerk and recently became an associate upon his admission to the Florida Bar. Mr. Melito graduated in May 2023 with both a juris doctor and master’s in urban and regional planning from Florida State University. In his master’s program, he specialized in real estate and economic development. During his studies, he clerked for a number of government offices including all three branches of Florida’s state government and for city and county governments.  Mr. Melito was selected as a legislative fellow with the Florida House of Representatives during the 2022 Legislative Session where he worked on issues related to local administration and insurance and banking.  He has also served on a number of local government advisory and quasi-judicial boards. Mr. Melito is an excellent addition to the firm and is expected to practice in a variety of areas building upon is educational expertise.
