David A. Melito

David A. Melito, J.D.* has recently joined the firm and is slated to become an associate upon his admission to the Florida Bar. Mr. Melito graduated in May 2023 with both his juris doctor and a master’s in urban and regional planning from Florida State University. In his mater’s program, he specialized in real estate and economic development. During his studies, he clerked for a number of government offices including the City of Tallahassee Attorney’s Office, the Florida Office of the State Courts Administrator, the Department of Management Services, and the Brevard County Attorney’s Office. He has also worked as a legislative fellow with the Florida House of Representatives as an analyst for the House Minority Office. Mr. Melito is an excellent addition to the firm and is expected to practice in a variety of areas building upon is educational expertise.
